Colca Tacana Necklaces

Colca Tacana is a jasper born in the Colca Valley, near my Arequipa. It is red and black, and sometimes gray and orange, the colours of the canyon itself, of fire and earth and shadow.

In the Andean cosmovision, the Colca Canyon is an interdimensional portal, the home of the condor. There, at the edge of the canyon, I let go of what no longer belonged to me, and I watched the condor fly. Wearing Colca Tacana connects you to that portal and to that freedom.

I don't offer it to fix anything in you, because nothing in you is broken. I offer it so you can carry a piece of the Colca with you.
